Colin Watkins

Colin has more than 10 years of experience in financial planning. He previously served on the advisory team at a leading firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and later became the director of planning and partner at Waypoint Capital Advisors, which was acquired by Mercer Advisors in 2024. Colin holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and specializes in strategic planning.

He is passionate about enhancing the consistency and efficiency of the financial planning experience for clients. Colin earned his Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Lawrence University in 2011.

Colin and his wife met in college and have been married since 2012. They live in Minneapolis with their daughter and two dogs. Colin enjoys outdoor activities year-round, including cycling, tennis, and cross-country skiing.
