Michael Uyemura
Senior Portfolio Manager
Michael Uyemura is the manager of the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) at Mercer Advisors. ISG is an integral part of the Investment Department charged with supporting the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Committee, and providing our advisor teams with analytics.
Prior to joining Mercer Advisors as a fixed income trader, Michael worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. He has worked in several investment-related roles before leading the ISG. Michael brings substantial expertise in the areas of portfolio construction, factor investing and financial modelling. He also serves as a subject matter specialist to support our advisors in client conversations.
He’s earned both an MBA and Masters of Investment Management and Financial Analysis from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University and is currently a level III candidate of the CFA Program.
