Chad Slaughter

Chad joined Mercer Advisors in 2024 as the market leader for Florida and works closely with his team to provide high-quality service to our clients. He was most recently the Managing Director of the National Private Bank for Fifth Third. For more than 25 years, Chad has been advising high-net-worth clients. He began his career as a practicing attorney at a boutique law firm in Chicago, focusing on tax and estate planning, followed by working at both Deloitte and Ernst & Young advising clients on tax strategies and wealth transfer techniques. He was also a Wealth Advisor at Wells Fargo Private Bank and J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Chad graduated with a B.S. in business administration from Marian University and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University.
