Matt Busick

Matt has helped people grow, protect, and pass on their wealth for nearly 30 years. Driven by his passion for ensuring clients achieve financial independence, Matt founded and managed River Glen Wealth Counselors in 2008, offering comprehensive financial planning services nationwide. In 2023, he merged RGWC with Mercer Advisors. Before RGWC, Matt was a registered representative with firms like American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., where he earned the President’s Recognition for Quality Advice for ten consecutive years. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Social Policy from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He serves as a director on the boards of The Rotary Club of Des Moines and The Rotary Club of Des Moines Foundation. Both natives of Northeastern Iowa, Matt and his wife live in Des Moines with their two children.
