Tim began his career in financial planning as an estate and trust lawyer in private practice, concentrating on general estate planning and trust administration. As a lawyer, he successfully prosecuted a substantial plaintiff’s case against a corporate trustee for failure to follow the prudent investor rule for over two decades. In 2009 Tim joined Sigma Investment Management Company as a client advisor, and became a principal in 2017. Tim is passionate about helping his private clients receive institutional-style portfolio management executed through sound financial and estate plans, with emphasis on multigenerational trusts. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Stanford University, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon, and holds a FINRA Series 65 license.
