Her working style

Cathy takes a highly personal, relationship‑driven approach with clients and thrives on solving complex challenges during times of transition. Known for being ultra‑responsive and a clear, caring communicator, she empowers clients to make confident decisions and enjoy worry‑free financial lives.

Cathy in real life

What makes you tick?

My passion for helping others through difficult transitions came when my mother was killed by a drunk driver. She was the financial partner in the relationship and, as I saw my father struggle to take over the family’s finances, I saw what a difference an advisor would have made in their lives. My greatest joy as an advisor is helping clients grapple with complex transitions (happy or sad), and emerge confident on the other side.

What makes you tick?

I have a special passion for advancing leadership opportunities for women. In my community, I have served on the Board of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta in a variety of positions. At Mercer Advisors, I enthusiastically participate in both formal and informal mentorship programs, helping young women develop to their fullest potential.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I love to travel and spend time outdoors. My favorite things to do combine those passions, whether it’s sailing in the British Virgin Islands, hiking in the Alps, biking in Europe, or enjoying just about any part of Italy!

*The ranking of the Forbes “Top Women Wealth Advisors” and “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors,” was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.
