Susan began her career in wealth management at Traust Sollus Wealth Management (fka Zdenek Financial Planning) in 2007. In addition to providing investment advisory services, her areas of expertise include comprehensive financial and cash flow planning, which incorporates income tax planning, estate planning, and risk management services. Her client base is primarily comprised of executives (due to her deep knowledge of executive compensation and benefit plans), professionals, and retirees. Prior to becoming a wealth manager, Susan practiced as a CPA at Touche Ross specializing in income taxes for individuals, estates and trusts and then worked as a tax consultant for Delphi Asset Management serving high net worth individuals, estates and trusts. She received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, with a major in accounting, from the University of Miami and a Masters of Taxation from Seton Hall University and holds a Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Susan is the current co-chair of the Women’s Division of the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey and holds a board of trustees position, serving as the treasurer of Roots & Wings Foundation, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization providing housing and support services for young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.
