Megan is an Estate Planning Service Specialist who joined Mercer Advisors in 2026, bringing experience from her role as Estates Deputy Clerk at the Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Court. She focuses on estate planning strategies for the clients she serves, coordinating all aspects of a client’s financial picture to help them move forward with confidence. She earned an MBA degree, a paralegal certification, and a B.S. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I love playing my saxophone in local community bands and watching the Carolina Hurricanes during the hockey season with friends, family, and fur babies.
Any words you try to live by?
I believe life is like a symphony, as every experience, challenge, and relationship adds a note, and together they create a story and legacy that’s uniquely our own.
What’s one thing you are surprisingly good at?
I am surprisingly good at learning songs by ear. I can often hear a piece of music once and play it back on the saxophone without sheet music, and I can memorize sheet music after looking at it only once.
