Meet Mark
Mark is Head of our Endowments and Foundations Group, and is based in Sun Valley, Idaho. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors in 2020, Mark was Co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Investment Officer of ClearRock Capital. He began his career in 1982 at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert in Beverly Hills.
Mark is passionate about nonprofit organizations to help ensure they fulfill their missions through financial guidance. Mark cares deeply about his community and has served on nonprofit boards continuously during his professional career: He currently serves on the Executive Committee of The Argyros Performing Arts Center in Ketchum, Idaho, and is a Director of Far + Wise. He is also a Trustee Emeritus at HomeRise in San Francisco. He earned an A.B. degree from Duke University and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation.

Mark is a connector who seeks ways to amplify his relationships for the benefit of his clients, teammates, and friends. His passion is helping nonprofit organizations advance their missions by building capacity more effectively.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I enjoy cycling, Nordic skiing, portrait photography, and reading.
Favorite thing about where you live?
I love the mountains of Idaho and the beaches of California.
