Meet Drew
Drew is Director of Institutional Partnerships and is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2024 after serving nine years at BlackRock, where he held various progressive positions, including working as Global Head of Aladdin Partnerships, as Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer, and on the Corporate Strategy team. Drew earned an A.B. degree in history from Princeton University. Drew believes in the power of capital markets to make people’s lives better. He finds motivation in being able to share that conviction with mission-driven organizations to guide them with the resources and partnership that can help expand their impact.
His working style
Drew brings a team-first mentality to everything he does. Having played football in college, he learned that results come from people working together toward a goal — and to this day, nothing is more rewarding to him than sharing a successful outcome with clients and teammates.
Drew in real life
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Hanging out with my young kids, trying to stay in somewhat respectable shape, and playing far too little golf.
Any words you try to live by?
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” My mom instilled this in me at an early age, and I think about it in every interaction I have.
How do you give back?
I’m honored to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art’s Board of Trustees. My favorite class in college was on children’s literature, and I fell back in love with it after I had my first son. It’s such an incredible place that celebrates picture book art as an artistic medium and brings families together.
