Director of Corporate Responsibility
As Director of Corporate Responsibility, Judy leads Mercer 2030, the company-wide initiative for sustainable, inclusive growth and development. Additionally, she leads the ESG Investments Steering Group providing research, training, and education for ESG investing. She is a member of Dimensional Fund Advisors Sustainability Council and the Avantis Investors ESG Panel. Previously, Judy was a Founding Partner of Confluence Financial Advisors, which merged with Mercer Advisors in 2019. Judy also leads All Aboard, a program developed to help guide principals of newly-merged firms into the Mercer Advisors community. She speaks regularly on ESG, sustainable, and impact investing and has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Money magazine, and numerous other publications.
Judy transitioned to financial planning after a successful career in high technology. She co-founded, built, and sold two software companies. She holds a B.A. and an MBA from the University of Colorado and a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. She is an adjunct finance professor for the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
A life-long advocate for the environment, Judy is passionate about working to preserve our planet's oceans. She is a PADI scuba Instructor and a member of the Coral Reef Alliance Advisory Council. Married 40 years, she and her husband have a daughter and twin sons. When not in the water, she enjoys skiing, cycling, and travel.
