Meet Joshua
Joshua is a Tax Manager based in Houston, Texas. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2022 after serving as Sr. Tax Associate at BDO USA, LLP. Joshua earned a B.A. degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant (CPA). Joshua gains satisfaction in keeping on top of the ever-changing tax laws to help his clients find solutions to their tax needs. He puts great importance on ensuring his clients have the most up-to-date tax information as possible.

Joshua approaches work with a joyful energy. His preferred style of communication is through a phone call, allowing him to efficiently understand his client’s needs and provide timely feedback.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I enjoy playing golf and compete in city- and state-sanctioned golf tournaments.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
I have a 6-year-old Golden Retriever that I enjoy spending time with. We enjoy playing fetch and going on long walks in the park.
How do you give back?
I volunteer with Cornerstone Family Ministries and Houston Welcome Refugee. In Cornerstone Family Ministry, we spend time with lower-income middle school and high school students. An evening includes having dinner with them, playing sports, and having a Bible study. With Houston Welcome Refugee, I partner with a family that is taking refuge in the U.S. My ultimate responsibility is to become their friend and assist them in acclimating into U.S. culture.
