James Greer

James finds fulfillment in helping clients navigate financial planning complexities, optimizing their financial well-being, and safeguarding their life savings with the care of a trusted family member.

For more than 12 years, he served high-net-worth individuals at The Vanguard Group before joining Mercer Advisors in 2024. Motivated by his parents’ struggles to plan for their retirement, James is dedicated to helping clients think about the future and gain more control over their financial destiny. He embraces the comprehensive financial planning approach, which includes investment management, tax planning, estate planning, insurance planning, and retirement planning.

He was inspired by his mentor at Vanguard to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. James graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in communication studies and holds an MBA from DeVry University.

A Phoenix native and avid golfer, James cherishes staying active. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
