Meet Doug
Doug is a Sr. Vice President based in Omaha, Nebraska. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2013 after serving at Westwood Trust and the private client group of First National Bank of Nebraska, where he provided comprehensive financial planning and investment advice for high-net-worth clients, foundations, and endowments. In his role, Doug collaborates with our partner firms and mentors new regional vice presidents. He is dedicated to building relationships with partners and learning about their clients, introducing them to a hand-picked Mercer Advisors team to help achieve their goals. Doug has served on several industry and community boards during his career, including Dundee Presbyterian, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Omaha Jaycees, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He earned a B.S. degree in business from Wayne State College.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
Being a husband to Lizzy and father to my kids, Hazel and William.
Favorite thing about where you live?
Trying new resturants and being out in the community in Omaha, Nebraska as well as Okoboji, Iowa.
Why do you like working at Mercer Advisors?
What I wanted to build at other firms, Mercer Advisors was already doing and adding to it.
