Alyssa is a Principal located in Austin, Texas. She joined Mercer Advisors with nearly 20 years of experience in financial services. Her expertise spans financial planning, investment strategy, and client relationships. Prior, Alyssa spent nearly four years at CAM Investor Solutions and 14 years at Dimensional Fund Advisors. She earned a MBA from The University of Texas and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I love spending time with my husband and two children. We enjoy being together outdoors, traveling, and seeking out new adventures both big and small.
How do you give back?
At heart, I think I was meant to be a professional volunteer. I love staying involved in my children’s school community and currently serve on the PTA board. I’m also passionate about encouraging more women to join the financial profession, which is why I serve on the local Austin FPA (Financial Planning Association) board. And in support of civic participation, I volunteer as an election official to help ensure everyone has the opportunity to take part in the voting process.
Favorite thing about where you live?
My favorite thing about Austin is the strong sense of community — people show up for one another, support local businesses, and create a culture that feels both dynamic and deeply connected. On top of that, Austin’s outdoor lifestyle is a huge part of why my family and I love calling it home. Whether we’re exploring local trails, spending time near the water, or simply enjoying the sunshine, being outdoors together is one of the ways we stay grounded and connected to this incredible city.
