Alex Cote is a Portfolio Manager on the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) at Mercer Advisors. He is primarily responsible for market and manager research; including portfolio construction, design, position selection, and position sizing recommendations. He also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee, Investment Committee ESG Investments Subcommittee, Innovation-ESG Committee, and Valuation Committee. Alex’s expertise revolves around deep-rooted passion and knowledge pertaining to markets, portfolio management, and ESG/values-based investing. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors’ PMG, Alex was a Portfolio Analyst on Mercer Advisors’ Investment Strategy Group and an Investment Analyst at an ESG-focused firm. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he earned his MBA with a Financial Analysis concentration and undergraduate majors in Finance and Accounting. He is also a CFA Level I candidate.
