Steven in real life

Any words you try to live by?

Be kind and caring because everyone you meet is dealing with something (if not more). Helping others is its own reward.

How do you give back?

Facilitating Christian grief support groups at church has helped bring this caring ministry to Mercer Advisors. I am a mentor at Mercer Advisors internally in both the InvestHers and Financial Literacy groups. In addition, my wife and I support multiple children through world relief organizations. I am also a church council member as well as treasurer for a Christian men’s ministry called Castimonia.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I feel blessed to be married to Margaret, who is quite a talented musician (piano tutor and gifted clarinet player) as well as an aspiring author (she’s published in “Chicken Soup for the Soul,” among others). I am the father of five children, including four daughters and a deceased son. I have one grandson and one granddaughter. My wife and I enjoy live theater, concerts, and comedy.
