Meet Tyler

Tyler is a Sr. Wealth Advisor based in San Diego, California. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2018. Tyler began his financial planning career at a fee-only wealth management firm in Redondo Beach. Prior to that, Tyler served 12 years as a partner at a technology firm where he focused on accounting, finance, and business development. Tyler is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and an active member of his local Financial Planning Association chapter. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. degree in history.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I spend most of my downtime with my family — Alli, Jack, Henry, and Poppy. I especially enjoy coaching my kids’ sporting events and watching them grow. Outside of family time, I enjoy training for and participating in triathlons, fly fishing, skiing, and spending time outdoors whenever possible.

What makes you tick?

Striving to be the best person and advisor I can be. I firmly believe that incremental, positive change can be a powerful force in creating long-term happiness.

Favorite thing about where you live?

The people. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful, generous, supportive, and fun-loving individuals within our San Diego community.
