Tamara loves working with people and initially obtained a bachelor’s degree in social science. However, she soon discovered her true calling was in accounting and tax, where she could apply her strong organizational skills. She returned to school and received a master’s degree in accountancy from California State University, Sacramento. Tamara now enjoys assisting clients in understanding tax concepts and planning with tax consequences in mind. Tamara joined Mercer Advisors via the Private Asset Management (“PAM”) acquisition in August 2023. Prior to the acquisition, she worked with PAM for nearly four years, and worked as a tax accountant at EY. Outside the office, Tamara enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
