Meet Jonas
Jonas is a Wealth Advisor based in San Diego, California. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2023. Jonas began his financial services career in 2018 as an investment analyst at Meketa Investment Group, advising multi-employer and public pensions, endowments and foundations, and corporate defined contribution plans. He also worked as a senior investment analyst for the Northrop Grumman investment team, overseeing fixed income and private credit assets for the pension plan. Jonas earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of the Pacific and a M.S. degree in finance from the University of San Diego. Jonas is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Chartered Financial Analyst®, and a member of the CFA Society of San Diego.

Favorite thing about where you live?
In San Diego, I love spending time outside, whether hiking or at the beach, with my wife, dogs and son, and rooting on my San Diego Padres.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Cooking, golfing, and watching sports.
Any words you try to live by?
“Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard.” Natural ability can only take you so far, and you have to work at your craft or passion everyday to keep growing.
