Susan Lehnerd

Susan spent 16 years at Mallard Financial Partners, which joined Mercer Advisors in 2023. She brings her former career in education to the financial planning experience, sharing her passion for learning and teaching with her clients.

Susan enjoys one-on-one interactions with clients to understand where they are in their financial journey and help them develop a path to reaching their goals. She takes the time to get to know individuals and families, devising a plan that fits them. As a parent and spouse, Susan brings understanding and compassion to her interactions with clients.

She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Towson University and her MBA from Loyola University Maryland.

Susan and her family have been long-time residents of Harford County, Maryland, residing just outside of Havre de Grace. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, reading, biking, and being outdoors experiencing the open space, rolling hills, and farmland.
