Matt Heller

Matt began his financial planning career in 2006, working extensively with health care professionals. He managed the pension plan for Atrium Health Navicent, one of the largest health care retirement plans in Georgia, gaining deep experience in retirement planning and institutional investment management. In 2013, Matt joined Day & Ennis and became a partner in 2018, focusing on the unique needs of small business owners. The firm joined Mercer Advisors in 2023.

Dedicated to helping clients make some of the most important decisions in their lives, Matt finds fulfillment in providing reassurance through thoughtful, personalized planning. Starting his career at a young age has given him valuable insight into the financial needs of clients at every life stage and the importance of building strong financial habits early on.

Matt holds both a B.S. and an MBA from Georgia Southern University. He is actively involved in his community, serving on the board of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia and previously as president of the Central Georgia Estate Planning Council. He was also a founding board member of the Mercer University Student Management Investment Fund, a member of the Rotary Club of Macon, and a graduate of Leadership Macon.

Matt and his wife have one son. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and fly fishing.
