Katherine (Katy) Cordeiro

Katy is dedicated to supporting clients with personalized service, operational excellence, and long-term relationship building. She graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in financial planning and a minor in marketing. With a strong academic background and a passion for helping others build financial confidence, Katy brings both technical knowledge and a people-first mindset to her role.

Katy thrives in a client-facing position because it allows her to build genuine relationships and make a direct, positive impact on clients’ lives. Before joining Mercer Advisors in 2025, she served at LPL Financial. Inspired by her father, who founded his own private wealth company, Katy witnessed firsthand the profound impact of financial planning on people’s lives and the importance of building trust.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys teaching spin classes, exploring local businesses, traveling, and volunteering with community organizations. She is a World Champion in Allstar Cheer and has 15 years of gymnastics experience, reaching level 10. A native of Napa, California, Katy is now enjoying everything Austin has to offer, appreciating its vibrant culture, outdoor activities, and strong sense of community.
