Howard A. Kades

Howard has built long-term relationships with clients by helping them grow and manage wealth to meet their financial needs and objectives. He embraces the challenge of helping each individual, couple, or family meet their unique goals and gain confidence in their financial situations.

Howard’s career began in 1992 when he founded Kades Financial, Inc. with his father, Larry, whose entire career was in financial services. The firm later became Kades & Cheifetz LLC, which joined Mercer Advisors in 2024.

Howard earned an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in management with a finance concentration from Tulane University.

Howard lives in suburban Philadelphia, near where he was raised and most of his family resides. He serves on the Finance Committee of the local Jewish Community Center. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his children play sports.
