George Herr

George began his wealth management career in 2021. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, he had a 30-year engineering career at Ford Motor Company. As he approached retirement, he recognized the need for a second career and found the complexity of building and protecting wealth very compelling. As a result, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and joined forces with Mercer Advisors. George is very passionate about helping families make smart decisions about money so they can build and protect their wealth over time. George holds several engineering degrees and graduated from the College of Financial Planning in 2020. In addition to his CFP® certification, George holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation and is currently working on his enrolled agent designation.
