Meet Will
Will is Sr. Director, Investment Strategy, and is based in New York, New York. He leads the Investment Strategist team, which provides thought leadership, portfolio construction, and analytical support to advisors, delivering institutional-grade portfolios to Mercer Advisors clients. Will joined Mercer Advisors in 2024 after serving as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Asset Management, where he led relationship management for the firm’s largest clients as an investment strategy subject matter specialist across credit, equity, and alternative strategies. Before that, he led the fixed income organization at Charles Schwab as Managing Director and worked as a high-yield credit and distressed securities analyst for long-only and hedge fund products for both Nuveen and U.S. Trust Company.
Will earned a B.A. degree in mathematics with a philosophy minor from Rollins College and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, concentrating in finance. Will is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder. He is also an Adjunct Professor of finance and business ethics at Fordham University.
His working style
Will supports wealth advisors as they navigate high-stakes conversations with clients, bringing a calm, steady presence to big investment decisions. He’s a good listener who stays well prepared while managing multiple complex projects at once. As a team leader, he develops strong talent, and his knack for individualization lets him tailor complex information for clients. As a key member of the investment team, he plays a significant role with investment policy and consistently meets with prospective clients and M&A firms to explain the Mercer Advisors investment philosophy and platform.

What’s one thing you are surprisingly good at?
Juggling. As a high school freshman, I was the only kid on the varsity basketball team and in the juggling club.
Favorite thing about where you live?
As a kid born and raised in New York City, I have the city’s DNA in me. I love the energy, community, and diversity of this wonderful melting pot.
