Question

How do custodians get paid for their services?

Answer

The custodians (and/or their affiliates) can be compensated by Mercer Global Advisors’ clients in various manners, including the receipt of transaction fees for making securities transactions for client accounts, revenues earned from account cash balances, serving as an investment manager or sub-adviser for account assets,  and to the extent applicable, interest income earned from margin and asset-based loans.
