Question

Does Mercer Advisors receive economic benefits from custodians?

Answer

Yes, in the form of standard custodial support (trading platforms, research, technology) that qualified custodians make available to registered investment advisers. Mercer Advisors does not receive commissions, revenue sharing, or direct payments from custodians for placing client assets with them. These benefits — and any potential conflict they create — are disclosed in Form ADV Part 2A. Custodial support that improves service capability is common across the RIA industry; what matters is what a firm receives, what it doesn’t, and how transparently that is disclosed.
