Meet Zac Reynolds
Zac co-founded Full Sail Capital in 2018 and served as Chief Investment Officer before the firm was acquired by Mercer Advisors in 2025. He helped grow the firm to more than $2 billion in assets under management by guiding clients toward achieving their goals. As an advisor for 16 years, Zac has seen the positive impact that quality investment advice can make on individuals, families, and organizations. He came into the business right before the global financial crisis which helped him understand that whether clients are guided by quality advice can often mean the difference between achieving one’s financial goals or falling short. Zac earned his MBA from Oklahoma City University. He is a chartered financial analyst.

Favorite thing about where you live?
I split my time between my hometown of Oklahoma City and my adopted home of Telluride, Colorado. I am a huge Thunder basketball fan and enjoyed supporting them throughout their championship run in 2025. In Telluride, I love spending time outdoors hiking the gorgeous San Juan mountains or hitting the ski slopes.
Any words you try to live by?
“Memento mori” is a Stoic phrase that literally means “remember you must die.” Stoic philosophers used this as a reminder that time is finite and should be cherished and used wisely. For me, it’s a grounding principle that encourages focus, humility, and purpose. It helps me filter out noise, stay present, and invest my energy in what truly matters, both personally and professionally.
Why do you like working at Mercer Advisors?
When I co-founded my wealth management business Full Sail Capital in 2018, I couldn’t imagine I’d ever be sporting another company’s logo. But when my partners and I met the leadership at Mercer Advisors, we were immediately blown away by the similarities between our firms.
