Kelly in real life
Favorite thing about where you live?
I am constantly inspired by the people of New York City who call this place home. There is a deep sense of loyalty and resilience here, and we are always adapting alongside a city that never stands still. I love the walkability, from peaceful morning walks through Madison Square Park to weekends at the Union Square Greenmarket. Even during hectic weekdays in Midtown, I cherish those moments when I run into friends, colleagues, and clients along the way. There is nothing quite like being in the center of it all, and I never take it for granted.
How do you give back?
I spend much of my free time volunteering. I serve on the associate board of W!se (Working in Support of Education), a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to improving economic mobility through financial literacy and college and career readiness programs for students and underserved communities. I teach financial literacy to women who are survivors of domestic violence through W!se’s programming and mentor New York City high school students as they prepare for academic competitions that can earn scholarships.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Enjoying New York’s constantly evolving food and wellness scene, getting lost in a good novel or memoir, and hosting relaxed Sunday dinners at home with my husband for family and friends.
