Rafael Arellano

Rafael embarked on his career in the financial services industry in 2012 as an intern while pursuing his B.S. in financial planning at William Paterson University, where he graduated in 2015. He is also a proud CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. In 2018, Rafael joined Mercer Advisors, bringing his expertise from Beacon Wealth Management.

With a focus on building generational financial plans, Rafael guides clients towards financial success up to and through retirement. He specializes in creating tax-efficient strategies, helping to ensure clients can fully enjoy their retirement savings.

Rafael takes great pleasure in engaging with clients, learning about their unique situations, and crafting personalized plans tailored to their needs. He considers it a privilege to be entrusted with clients’ life savings and is passionate about helping them achieve economic security.

Outside of work, Rafael cherishes time with his wife, daughter, and their neighborhood-famous Corgi. He is a longtime New York Giants fan. A jack of all trades but master of none, he enjoys learning how to fix or build home projects. Rafael is also an avid movie buff that still enjoys classic video games.
