Patricia Murphy Hirata

Pat is a senior director of tax services at Mercer Advisors who leads the west region tax group, a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive tax planning and compliance solutions. She brings to the role dual expertise as both a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney.

Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, she delivered complex tax solutions and income tax planning services to high-net-worth clients and their companies, holding leadership roles in both national and regional accounting firms specialized in private client services, with a focus on trusts and estates.

She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Masters in Tax from the University of Southern California, and a Juris Doctor from Western State University of Law.

Residing in Carlsbad and La Quinta, California with her husband, two dogs, and a cat, Pat enjoys quality time with her family and learning to play golf.
