Kalita has more than 30 years of experience helping families manage and preserve their wealth, including achieving their philanthropic goals. She is passionate about working with families to ensure they are great stewards of their wealth now and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
Kalita is dedicated to empowering women to better understand their financial affairs, especially during life transitions. She listens carefully to clients’ concerns and offers tailored solutions to their financial challenges. Kalita joined Quest Capital Management in 1993, was named partner in 1999, and became president in 2010. Her firm merged with Mercer Advisors in 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
A fifth-generation Texan and Dallas native, Kalita is actively involved in professional and civic organizations in Dallas and contributes to the community through philanthropy. She serves as a trustee of the Hockaday School, is on the board of the Foundation for Financial Planning and The Dallas Institute of Humanities, and helped establish the Women’s Leadership Alliance.
Kalita lives in Dallas with her husband and enjoys playing tennis, traveling, reading, and needlepointing. She is fluent in French.
