John Evans

John joined Mercer Advisors in 2022 after 20 years with Resource Planning Group, where he held various roles from client service to lead advisor. His second career as an Army officer adds a wealth of additional experience to his profile. John specializes in financial planning, investment management, and utilizing tax and estate strategies for high-net-worth clients. He takes great pleasure in building long-term relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their financial goals. John holds a BBA in finance from the University of North Georgia and a Master of Science in financial planning from The College for Financial Planning. An Eagle Scout, John enjoys volunteering with his local Cub Scout pack and Scout troop. He is also actively involved with his church, where he has served on several committees and sings in the choir. In his free time, John enjoys assembling Legos and engaging in model rocketry. Originally from Tifton, Georgia, he has been a resident of Peachtree Corners since 2007.
