Ian Aguilar

Ian grew up inspired by his father, a doctor, to pursue a career where he could help people, leading him to become a “doctor” for people’s finances. He began his career at a broker-dealer before running his own wealth management firm for six years.

Ian joined Mercer Advisors in 2023, motivated by the meaningful impact he can have on clients, allowing them to reach their goals and enjoy their lives. Ian specializes in simplifying complex financial topics for his clients, helping them feel confident in their decisions. He approaches each client relationship with the care and attention he believes is essential in financial advising.

Ian holds an MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College and an undergraduate degree in economics from Colgate University, where he also played football.

Currently residing in Nocatee with his wife and two children, Ian is a native of Jacksonville and an avid sports fan, rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida Gators. He speaks Spanish fluently and is actively involved in his community, serving on the board of the YMCA in Nocatee and as a member of the Rotary Club in Ponte Vedra.
