Meet Ethan
Ethan is a Wealth Advisor based in Newport Beach, California. He joined Mercer Advisors after serving nearly five years as a Wealth Advisor at EP Wealth Advisors. Before that, he served in advisor positions at Alpha Cubed Investments, LLC, Capstone Partners Financial and Insurance Services, The Certus Financial Group, and Merrill Lynch. Inspired by a visit with his parents to their financial advisor when Ethan was 15, he took a course at the University of California, Irvine that started his career aspirations. He earned a B.A. degree in history at the University of Southern California and an MBA in planning at California Lutheran University.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I love spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy being active. Depending on the day, you can find me at the gym, soccer field, tennis court, or golf course. I am currently working on becoming a scratch golfer.
What’s one thing you are surprisingly good at?
From childhood, I have been very good at puzzles. I approach every scenario as if it were a puzzle, and I work to understand the situation to find the appropriate pieces.
What makes you tick?
My drive in life is to help people; it makes me happy. Whether I see someone struggling at the grocery store, airport, or on the street, I will offer to help as best I can. This is why I love my job — I get to help people on a daily basis.
