David Simpson

David Simpson is a senior investment strategist at Mercer Advisors whose role is to work with wealth advisors for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families to create custom wealth strategies and portfolios.
David brings to Mercer Advisors 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently at Miller Advisors where he was a senior investment analyst directly involved in portfolio management, wealth strategy, and tax planning for clients. He began his financial services career at Charles Schwab.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from San Diego State University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.

Born and raised in Southern California, he has lived in the greater Seattle area since 2011 and is based in the Bellevue, Washington office. He is active in the CFA Society of Seattle and his church. David enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog (who provides regular entertainment).
