Meet Dakota
Dakota is a Regional Vice President based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2024 after serving as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley and Merrill Edge. Dakota is passionate about helping individuals and families realize the power of their finances. In his role, he helps determine whether Mercer Advisors is a good match for prospective clients and helps new clients get aligned with the right Wealth Advisor.

Dakota’s working style is process‑oriented and grounded in careful listening. A natural problem solver, Dakota takes time to understand each client’s story and what motivates them, then applies structure and insight to move complex situations forward with clarity and purpose.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
My wife and kids keep me going. Having three kids under age 3 will keep anyone busy! I also train jiu jitsu three times a week.

I love working for Mercer Advisors because of the people. We get to collaborate and help families. I understand the power that financial education and partnership unlocks.
Favorite thing about where you live?
I love the mystery of living in the desert. I was raised in Southern California and moved to Phoenix in 2018. Most everyone out of the state thinks it’s tumbleweeds and dirt, but you’d be surprised to learn the amount of biological diversity that thrives here.
