Colin in real life
What makes you tick?
I love helping people connect the dots between their money and what matters most to them.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Spending time with my wife and our two kids. We live in a walkable suburb of St. Louis, where we’re close to family and enjoy things like jazz festivals, local restaurants, and being part of the community.
Any words you try to live by?
“Put your oxygen mask on first.” If you take care of yourself — your finances, health, values — you’ll be in a much better position to take care of others. ”
Colin’s snapshots
Starting in July 2024, InvestmentNews invited financial advice and wealth management professionals across the country to nominate their most exceptional young talent for the inaugural Rising Stars list. Nominees had to be aged 40 or under (as of November 30, 2024) and be committed to a career in wealth management, with a clear passion for the industry. Nominees were asked about their current role, key achievements, and career goals, as well as the contributions they’ve made to shaping the industry. Recommendations from managers and senior industry professionals were also taken into account.
NAPA members nominated influencers for their use of video, infographics, text, or live platforms in the following categories: plan advisors; DCIOs; recordkeepers/TPAs; and other retirement plan industry professionals.
