Meet Codie
Codie is a Tax Associate based in the Walnut Creek, California office. She joined Mercer Advisors in 2026 after working in tax staff positions as EisnerAmper (previously Krost CPAs), where she began as an intern and advanced to tax staff. Codie earned a B.S. degree in public health from California State University at San Bernardino and a master’s degree in professional accountancy from California State University at Northridge, and she finds motivation in being able to help clients with solutions to their problems alongside an amazing manager and collaborative team.
Her working style
Codie enjoys collaborating with her colleagues to help serve clients. She asks a lot of questions before forming an opinion or deciding on a solution. Codie likes to keep a lighthearted but professional environment where her clients and colleagues feel comfortable.

What’s one thing you are surprisingly good at?
I do my own nails as a fun hobby and have gotten pretty good at it. I’m considering getting my nail tech license just for fun after I get my CPA license.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
I spend most of my free time with my husband and two dogs. We usually go hiking, visit new restaurants, or travel. Other times, I do random things like create scrapbooks or reorganize the whole house.
Why do you like working at Mercer Advisors?
Working at Mercer Advisors has been a breath of fresh air. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I love that we are so client-focused and do our best to provide our clients with the utmost care and service.
