Meet Brett

Brett is a Partner, Sr. Wealth Advisor based in Denver, Colorado. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2016 after serving as Manager of Financial Planning at ICMA-RC. Prior, he spent more than seven years at Mutual of Omaha, beginning as a Financial Analyst and advancing to Regional Sales Manager. He began his career at Union Bank & Trust in a client service role. Brett earned a B.S. degree in marketing from University Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and currently holds the Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter®, and Retirement Income Certified Professional certifications.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I enjoy golf, traveling, finding new restaurants, spending time outdoors and cheering on my sports teams.

What makes you tick?

Growing up in Nebraska you quickly learn the value of a strong work ethic, staying humble and being a trustworthy person. This helped shape my approach to both my personal and professional life. I know it can take years to build a good reputation but about five minutes to ruin it.
