Question

Will I pay more for Medicare if I have a higher income?

Answer

Yes. If your modified adjusted gross income exceeds $109,000 for individuals or $218,000 for married couples filing jointly in 2026, you will pay an IRMAA surcharge on top of your standard premiums, based on your income from two years prior.
