Meet Fernando

Fernando is a Client Service Specialist based in Houston, Texas who began his career in client service in 2021. He joined the financial services industry in 2022 at Quest Trust Company where he advanced to Investment Specialist. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, he served at Inspira Financial. Fernando believes in making meaningful, long-lasting relationships not just by providing excellent service but actually connecting with people.

Fernando is the type of person who purposefully connects with clients. He enjoys getting to know them and strengthening those relationships. By demonstrating patience, genuine care, and knowledge, he shares with clients the value of his service. If you want someone who truly has your best interest in mind, Fernando will take great care of you.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I spend most of my free time with my family. I value them very much and enjoy spending time and investing in my family. They’re the biggest motivator in my life and give me all the fuel I need to keep going.

Any words you try to live by?

I believe all a person has is their word. If you can’t keep your word, what good is anything you say or do? It’s a very simple ‘rule’ to live by but on a deeper level, it speaks to someone’s character, morals, and values.

What makes you tick?

The one thing I’ve found in all my past roles as well as my current role: I truly enjoy helping clients and people in general. If I can impact just a single person’s life in a positive way, regardless of small or large, that is a good day in my book.
