Max Brown

Max joined Mercer Advisors in 2025 after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While attending college, he interned at Shawn Hughes State Farm in Lafayette.

In his role, Max assists clients and wealth advisors in the Boulder office. He enjoys helping clients with financial planning matters and meeting new people. He also appreciates the opportunity to , work in all aspects of financial planning, tackling a diverse array of tasks each and every day. Max believes his career and life experiences have shaped a thoughtful, people-oriented approach grounded in adaptability, empathy, and strategic thought.

A Denver native, in his spare time Max likes hiking, skiing, cooking, long runs, and spending time outdoors. He also loves to cheer on the CU Boulder sports teams.
