Robert (Bobby) Bird

Bobby is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ with more than 30 years of experience in financial planning and investment analysis. He began his career in 1995 with Ameriprise Financial as a financial advisor and established Vishria Bird Financial Group in 2018. The firm merged with Mercer Advisors in 2025.

Known for his honest, analytical, and reassuring demeanor, Bobby is dedicated to crafting tailored strategies for his clients. His expertise is shaped by his own personal experiences, motivating him to expand investment horizons and continually introduce innovative ideas.

Bobby’s interest in finance was sparked during his teenage years when a mentor introduced him to the Wall Street Journal, igniting his passion for the stock market. Bobby holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis.

Outside of work Bobby enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
