Benjamin Sjodin

Ben has nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Mercer Advisors, he worked at two wealth management firms in Minneapolis.

In 2021, Ben joined Waypoint Capital Advisors as a senior client service and operations associate, where he focused on deepening client relationships and addressing their needs. Waypoint Capital Advisors was acquired by Mercer Advisors in 2024.

Ben graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance in 2016. He is passionate about “paying it forward” to the next generation and making a positive impact on young adults’ lives. For the past seven years, he has been coaching the University of Saint Thomas club hockey team.

An avid baseball player-turned-golfer, Ben enjoys playing a consistent butter-cut off the tee and welcomes competition. Recently, he bought a home in Plymouth, Minnesota, and got engaged to his fiancée.
