Meet Irish
Irish joined Mercer Advisors as a Financial Planner in 2025. He earned his BBA in finance (Financial Planning Program) and leadership from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also earned a Global Business Certificate from the Leeds School of Business. Inspired by his father who is a financial advisor, he interned at financial services companies in the summers of 2024 and 2023.
His working style
Irish’s approach is to be open, nonjudgemental, and mindful — able to accommodate anyone, regardless of their situation. He enjoys learning about the lives of others and what makes them who they are. He can simply be there to listen or he can provide input if needed. He thinks deeply into situations and has a desire to understand their inner workings. Irish believes in transparency, authenticity, and being detail-oriented so every piece of work is held to a high standard. He exercises calm and sensibility.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I consider myself a homebody. I enjoy reading, writing, watching excessively long video essays, and playing video games. Don’t worry, I have friends who drag me outside sometimes.
Any words you try to live by?
I try to live by many words, such as “understanding”; however, the one word that I always remember is “authenticity.” I see no reason to live as anyone else but my genuine, unmasked self.
Favorite thing about where you live?
It’s hard to describe my love for Colorado. I’m actually a bit of a black sheep, as I often don’t partake in the typical outdoor activities. Still, I believe this state — its people and its environment — is among the best in the world. So, it’s no wonder I’ve never had a desire to leave.
