Jonathan Wilson

Jonathan is a big-picture communicator and dream caster who excels at motivating others to be
proactive about accomplishing their dreams and goals.

He began his career in financial planning in 1994 and has since held key leadership roles, including
founding and leading his own successful firm for 24 years, and then serving as director of wealth
management for a boutique RIA firm in Los Angeles.

He joined Mercer Advisors as the regional vice president in Los Angeles in 2023, where he successfully
expanded the firm’s presence.

Jonathan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and an Enrolled Agent (EA). He earned a
bachelor’s degree in English literature at The Citadel and accepted a commission in the U.S. Army
(Infantry) upon graduation. He’s a Gulf War veteran and former Division 1 college athlete. He has also
served as a club, high school, and college head coach.

He and his wife recently returned to their home state of South Carolina to serve clients across the Carolinas.
