Jonathan N. Castle

Jon employs entertaining and straightforward communication skills to distill complex financial concepts into easily understood ideas. His motto, “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough!” reflects his commitment to clarity and understanding.

Jon graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an Armored Cavalry officer before transitioning to the financial services industry in 1995. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and holds a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS).

Jon has lectured on wealth preservation topics at the Florida Coastal School of Law and on retirement planning, wealth management, and various aspects of the financial services industry at the University of North Florida. Jon co-founded Paragon Wealth Strategies, a fee-only wealth management firm that joined Mercer Advisors in 2023.

When not working with clients, Jon enjoys working on antique cars and motorcycles, and supporting his community through the American Legion.
