Meet Joel
Joel is Product Manager, Investment Platform, and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. He joined Mercer Advisors through the acquisition of O’Brien Wealth Partners where he managed the portfolio management system and CRM, and supported tech and compliance. Joel earned a B.A. degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland.

Joel likes to work methodically, starting each day with a to-do list and ending each day with a to-do list. He enjoys working across teams and functions, with the goal of finding efficiency for all involved, especially those with client-facing roles. He believes the better he can support them, the better they can support our clients.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
Most of my free time is spent with my wife, daughter, and two dogs. I like to stay active, travel, and cheer on Boston teams.

If you want to be good at something, you have to be willing to be bad at it first.

My favorite thing about Boston, Massachusetts, and New England is the rich history that surrounds our day-to-day life. Anywhere you go, there are hundreds of years of history that you pass through and that you can see and feel.
